We can supply phono cartridges from Benz Micro and The Cartridge Man plus our own favourite the modified Denon DL-103SP. The SP is upgraded by The Expert Stylus Company the most respected name in stylus replacement. They utilize the very best samples of new standard DL-103 cartridges then fit their own Sapphire cantilver and their famous Paratrace stylus to produce a Hi-End cartridge at a very realistic price.
The DL-103 was chosen for this conversion as it has been an established broadcast cartridge in Japan for quite a few decades. Although discarded by many in the Hi-Fi industry The Expert stylus Company with their fourty years experience with cartridges soon realized that here was a top notch cartridge severely limited by its stylus design.
As manufacturers of probably the best stylus available they added their Paratrace design to the DL-103 plus their own Sapphire cantilever and have transformed a respectable cartridge into a real giant killer with all the warmth and detail that only the best models possess.
When your phono cartridge is in need of a new stylus then why pay excessive prices for re-tipping when The Expert Stylus Company can fit their excellent Paratrace stylus for a more modest price and you will get a better result as well. They can also fit their own Sapphire cantilever to replace damaged or broken units, again for a very modest price compared with the manufactures or even other less knowledgeable companies.
This service is available to virtually all cartridges but most particularly to high end moving coils were the cost of replacement is very high. It makes sense to have a better stylus for a lot less money.
Production of the DL-103SP is very limited and a 3/4 week waiting time is not unusual.
